SCRATCH TRACK
Acoustic Hip-Hop Soul” is the best way to describe
the musical anomaly that is -- SCRATCH TRACK. Throw in a bit of
funk, folk, rock, gospel, and beatbox, and you've got a band that
has it all… but doesn't sound like anything you've heard before
In 2002, the group recorded their debut full-length CD, ‘The
Simple,' and the following 2 years found SCRATCH TRACK playing with
the likes of Will Hoge, Los Lonely Boys, George Clinton & Parliament
Funkadelic, Living Colour, Erykah Badu, Twista, Jurassic 5, DJ Skribble,
Soulive, Calvin Richardson, Jars of Clay, Ruben Studdard, and neo
soul artist Javier. Their new LP, "Unreleased Sessions 2004’
– has been a huge hit.
After a solid year and a half U.S. tour playing over 250 shows,
the acoustic hip-hop soul trio is poised to take their game to the
next level. And with a reputation for terrific live shows, they’ve
built a dedicated fan base to go with them.
What are people saying?
Critics have stepped up to try to describe SCRATCH
TRACK’s style. The Chicago Sun Times called the band a hybrid
of “Digable Planets and Jack Johnson”, while On Tap
hailed them as “Outkast or the Neptunes… throw in a
guitar and more beat boxing, and you might come close.” It
was a New York University reporter in late 2004 that perhaps best
described the sound of SCRATCH TRACK as “mindbending, styleblending,
and undeniably original.”

FLOREZ
Originally from the east coast, florez transplanted
themselves to Nashville to record their second album, "In Flight".
Good idea..since moving, they're considered one of the hottest new
acts, recently won Icehouse's "Battle For The Boat," and
the new album spent a good portion of 05' in the Awarestore top
10.
The music is a mix of Latin/Soul/Pop/Alternative, and its certainly
been gaining them some fans thanks to local radio play, BMG publishing
deal, and consistent touring with acts with Gavin Degraw, Will Hoge,
Robert Randolph.
Recent Noteworthy Accomplishments:
Winner of 2005 Icehouse "Battle for the
Boat"
What are the press saying?
"Florez are a rare gem...their album could
be loosely shoved into the acoustic-rock section of your record
store. However there is a lot going on here and ‘In Flight' is far
from the next Dashboard Confessional album or anything other than
a living, breathing, multifaceted musical organism." -State

PETE FRANCIS of Dispatch
Singer/Songwriter/guitarist/vocalist Pete Francis has stories to tell: from touring all over for 9 years with the hugely popular Dispatch to spending a year studying poets in Ireland, Pete hopes his music will offer "continuous discovery."
Since Dispatch, Pete's released "Untold"(Hollywood Records), "Good to Finally Know," and is currently completing "Everything
is One".
What are the press saying?
"[Pete] skips from the pyschedelic prattle of Pink Floyd to the whimsy of Thelonious Monk to a full-out soul...finally coming to some resolution with Van-Morrison-like folk-rock. The musicianship is first rate...Jazz bassist Marty Ballou and Marty Richards cast a mighty rhythmic spell, providing inventive textures around Francis' sparse guitar work." -Amazon
